The approval letter has been sent under sepazate cover. Enclosed with this letter are
reclamation cost estimating worksheets used to establish the $70,000 bond amount required for the permit
to be issued. The cost estimates are based on the information provided in the permit application and on
the quarry and highwall. configuration information you provided to me in a telephone conversation on
January 30, 2002. Please note that the grass seeding rates input to the cost estimate have been adjusted
downward from the rates listed on the Natural Resources Conservation Service worksheets-provided with
your permit application. The Division of Minerals and Geology will require that these reduced seeding
rates be used at the time of reclamation to prevent over seeding of the azeas to be reclaimed: These
reduced seeding rates also lessen the estimated costs for reclamation of the quarry.
Also enclosed with this letter is correspondence the Division of Minerals and Geology received relating to
your proposed quarry operation. You aze advised to familiarize yourself with the content of the
correspondence to determine of any other permits will be required prior to commencement of quarry
operations.
ff you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866-4063.
Sint ely,
..Y~-- -
Allen C.
