4-71 <br />' GRAB SAMPLE MU 1 <br />This soil was sampled at MU1 in map unit DL at the Munger Canyon <br />mine at the portal area on a 40 to 45 percent slope about 760 feet <br />east and 2,055 feet north of the southwest corner of Section 27, <br />T.7 S., R. 102 W., at an elevation of 5,693 feet. It is fill <br />material derived from sandstone, shale and colluvium. <br />AC 0 to 4 inches; very gravelly clay loam; 35 to 40 <br />percent gravels, less than 10 percent cobbles; <br />coal fragments throughout; pH 7.7. <br />GRAB SAMPLE MU 2 <br />This soil was sampled at MU2 in map unit DL at the Munger Canyon <br />mine on the upper portion of the haul road on a 40 to 65 percent <br />• side slope about 125 feet west and 2,140 feet north of .the south- <br />west corner of Section 28, T. 7 S., R. 102 W., at an elevation of <br />5,680 feet. It is fill derived from sandstone and colluvium. <br />AC 0 to 7 inches; very gravelly clay loam; moderate <br />medium granular structure; 35 to 40 percent road <br />fill gravels; pH 7. 9. <br />GRAB SAMPLE MU 3 <br />This soil was sampled at tlU3 in map unit DL at the Munger Canyon <br />mine on the haul road on a 30 to 65 percent slope about 910 feet <br />west and 2,400 feet north of the southeast corner of Section 28, <br />T. 7 S., R. 102 W., at an elevation of 5,640 feet. It is fill <br />derived from sandstone, shale and colluvium. <br /> <br />
