The field inspection 1o-~nted one site of rock art and rock <br />• shelters. The three shelters and all the rock art panels are <br />Located on one large rock outcrop. The outcrop of sandstone <br />occurs at the confluence of Elkhorn Creek and Good Spring Creek <br />and is exfoliating at what appears to be geologically, a rather <br />rapid rate. One other site (5P1F402) previously recorded, in the <br />buffer zone will not be affected from the proposed mine work. <br />Blasting may affect the rock art and rock shelters but should <br />not affect lithic scatters or campsite type aboriginal sites. <br /> <br />• <br />8 <br />
