Colorado 80203 <br />RE: Cresson Project Permit M-1980-244: Use of Ponds No. 4A, No. 4C and No. 6 Water for <br />Dust Suppression; Second Quarter 2002 Report <br />Dear Mr. Keffelew: <br />Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company ("CC&V") submits herein a summary of water used from <br />Ponds No. 4A, No. 4C and No. 6 for dust suppression and the location(s) of use. All water has been used <br />on the mine roads and on the valley leach facility ("VLF") roads within the permit boundary. <br />This report covers the period from Aprii 1, 2002 through June 30, 2002. Pond No. 4A usage was <br />8,571,000 gallons.
