Using topsoil and other <br />overburden, the ground surface is shaped into final contours <br />reestablishing land forms or creating new lard forms for <br />future use. <br />Earthmoving <br />East Rigden Farm contains approximately 300.0 acres, Mininq <br />will affect about 195 acres, principally on the northern portion <br />of the site and nearest the river. A total oz about 3,500,000 tons <br />of sand.and gravel will be removed. Plans call for removal of <br />about 500,000 tons per year; however, yearly volume is affected <br />by economic conditions.
