BOX 229 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Loveland, CO 80439-0229 <br />RE: Adequacy Review Comments for "Bokelman-Walters", Regular 112 Application <br />Class: Permit File No. M-2006-080 <br />Dear Mr. Francher: <br />Listed below are adequacy review comments on the above-captioned Regular 112 application for <br />201 permitted acres. The decision date for your application is scheduled for March 5, 2007. <br />Therefore, I would appreciate a response from you on or before February 23, 2007. (Your <br />response should include two (2) copies). Please be advised that your conversion application may <br />be deemed inadequate and may be denied on March 5, 2007 unless the following adequacy <br />review items are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. <br />6.4.3 EXHIBIT C -Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br />1. In conformance with Rule 6.2.1(b), maps and exhibits must be prepared and signed by a <br />registered land surveyor, professional engineer, or other qualified person. The Division also <br />requests that you clearly define the permit boundary for the 201 acres to be permitted and show <br />the location of the slurry wall trench. Please revise all appropriate exhibits to be in compliance <br />with Rule 6.2.1(b). <br />2. Please revise Exhibit C-2 "Mine Plan" to show the location of all proposed topsoil stockpile <br />azeas to be outside the boundaries of the floodway for the Big Thompson River. (This includes <br />Phase 1- Ce114 and Phase 2 -Cells 1, 2, & 3). <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D -Mining Plan <br />3. In conformance with Rule 6.4.4 (c), please provide a representative cross sectional diagram <br />showing the configuration of the proposed slurry wall construction including width, depth, <br />keyway. Also, please specify who the owner(s) of the slurry wall structure will be. In the event <br />the owner(s) of the slurry wall is not Loveland Ready Mix Concrete, Co., the Applicant will need <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines <br />
