Long <br />Drvrsion Director <br />(110 (2) <br />On August 2, 1995, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your application <br />for a Limited Impact Reclamation Permit for the Schumacher Pit, File No. M-95- <br />063. Preliminary review determined that the following items must be submitted <br />before your application can be considered submitted and technical review can <br />begin: <br />EXHIBIT E - 6.3.5(3) - Reclamation Plan Map <br />(a) show the gradient of all reclaimed slopes (horizontal:vertical) <br />sufficient to describe the post mine topography; <br />(b) indicate where vegetation will not be established and the general <br />area(s) for shrub or tree planting; <br />(c) if ponds are a part of the Reclamation Plan, outline the final shore <br />configuration of the ponds and shallow areas if the future land use is for <br />wildlife; <br />(d) state the average thickness of replaced overburden by reclamation area <br />or phase; and <br />(e) state the average thickness of replaced topsoil by reclamation area or <br />phase. <br />Rule 1.6 .2(1)(b) (Effective May 1. 1995): You must post a notice at the <br />location of the proposed mine site of sufficient size and number to clearly <br />identify the site as the location of a proposed mining operation giving <br />your name, address, and phone number, and stating that you have applied for <br />a mining permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. Your <br />notice must also state that anyone wishing to comment on the application <br />may view the application at the Adams County Clerk and Recorder's Office <br />and should send comments prior to the end of the public comment period to <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman St, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />After posting this notice you must provide a signed affidavit that such <br />notice has been posted accozding to the provisions of this Rule and submit <br />the affidavit to the Division. <br />A sample of this notice and affidavit is enclosed for your use. Please be <br />sure to place a copy of the affidavit at the Clerk and Recorder's office. <br />
