Eahibil D CINLRB 112 Permit Application
Agile Stone Systems. Inc.
• Since the project has proposed a 100' buffer be associated with most of the buffer and
haul roads, the entire 100' width is included in the total disturbed acres. However, these
buffer areas will not necessarily be disturbed. A maximum 35' road and drainage Swale
will be built disturbing 1/3 of the buffer from which top soil will be removed prior to
construction. (A 25' road and drainage Swale is more likely in most aeeas.) The adjacent
buffer areas could be used to stockpile large decorative products at limited sites along
entrance roads. Should these buffer aeeas be used for storage, topsoil would be removed.
As an estimate of acreage for top soil recovery and reclamation, 50% of the total acres
aze assumed to be disturbed and require subsequent reclamation. The remaining 50%
will remain in native vegetation without removal of top soil to maintain erosion and top
soil stability. This results in 24.63 acres total roads with 11.69 acres disturbed reclaimed.
All roads and associated erosion control measures will be maintained during operations.
Permanent roads will be left after mining while temporary roads and their associated
erosion control structures will be removed after mining. Permanent roads remaining aze
shown on the Reclamation Map in Exhibit F.

23
