Wastewater Treatment Description The previous permit listed seven discharge points Eor the facility, 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 007 and 008. However, only 001 and 002 are in existence. Treatment is provided at 001 by a sediment trap. (Discharge point 006 will be for sewage treatment. The permit will he amended to include this point when the treatment system is in place.) Even though they are not yet constructed, the permittee wishes to maintain discharge points 003, 004, 005, 007 and 008 in the permit, since coverage under a discharge permit is required by Mined Land Reclamation under their permit. Discharge point 002 is for mine water, which has not been found yet. Under normal circumstances, any water generated will be used within the mine area for dust suppression or machinery cooling. Discharge would only occur if a large volume of water were encountered. The discharge points as proposed and existing are listed below: Table IV-1 -- Discharge Points D.
