1
In terms of other County requirements on drainage and flood control items, permanent access to the
S. Platte River for channel maintenance will be provided to Adams County and/or the Urban Drainage
and Flood Control District (CCP#4). The County will also require a Final Drainage Plan, particularly
to address a drainage channel along ]00'" Avenue west of the S. Platte River (CCP#13). Finally,
' County policies also require maintenance of all drainage facilities by property owners, and will charge
property for any costs associated with the County being forced to perform any drainage facility
maintenance (CS# 11).
The total expected life ofthe operation to completion of all reclamation is expected to be 10± yeazs.
Upon completion of mining and reclamation, the 349± acres of property would be utilized as follows:
' Sealed Water Storage Reservoir(s) - 231± acres (205± acres of water surface)
' Wildlife/Open Space Area - 91± acres
Industrial - 27± acres
' Finally as was mentioned at the start of this section, the property will be subdivided into various
pazcels logically related to mining/reclamation phases, afteruse, and to ease potential future
conveyance of portions of the property to others in the future. These plats will include appropriate
easements to Public Service for future development of portions of the property (CCP#1).

J

C
