EXHIBIT K <br />CLIMATE <br /> <br />• <br />• <br />The properties' elevation is 10,900 feet above sea level. <br />The summers are mild with usually an afternoon rain daily. <br />The mild weather extends from about mid-May unti the end of <br />September. The winters in the area are usuall severe and <br />very cold. Depending on the severity of the previous <br />winter, the working season for digging the gra els extends <br />from mid-April until mid-November. The freezin up of the <br />water supply determines how long into the fall the <br />processing plant can operate. <br />The climate of northwestern Park County is semis id with an <br />average annual precipitation of 18 inches estim ted by the <br />State Climatologist Office. Approximately 70 per ent of the <br />annual precipitation occurs as rain throughout the growing <br />season. Some snow cover occurs but is usuall light and <br />drifted by wind.
