Seedinq

(1) Two types of revegetation will be conducted.
result in a forest type plant community and the otl
grassland type community. Those areas mapped a
Exhibit F will be planted to grasses, and those area
LP will be planted to Lodgepole Pine and greatly
grass seed applications as follows:
Native Seedinq and Seedlinq Mix
Type of Required PLSa
Plant Community Species rates per acre
Forest (LP)
Grassland (GS)
Notes:
Lodgepole pine b N/A
Arizona fescue 5 c
Mountain muhly 5 c
Arizona fescue 20 c
Mountain muhly 15 c
Idaho Fescue 7 c
subalpine forb mix e 3 d, e
)ne will
er in a
s GS on
marked
reduced
L~ seeding
rpte per
N/A
3
3
12
9
3.2
3
a = PLS is Pure Live Seed + $ germination a eas x $
purity
b = seedling planting rate will be 500 p r acre
planted in the spring after April 15 and before
June 1.
c = this number times the $ of species esti ated to
be in the mixture gives PLS per acre. Seedling stock will be selected from appr priate
sources, e_g., Forest Service nurseries that are c gnizant
of elevation, seedling stock, aspect, etc.
17
