The above seed mix and seedlings will provide the y~ eatest
probability of successful reclamation, in that rec mmended
species are based on soils, climate, aspect and Furrent
reclamation techniques.
(2) Seed mixes will be drilled in the late fall c~r early
spring before native seed is expected to break do mancy.
Seedlings will be planted in the spring as close to pril 30
as possible to insure a minimum chance of severe wea her and
to take advantage of spring soil moisture before it igation
starts. Seedling stock will be selected from appr priate
sources, e_g., Forest Service nurseries that are c gnizant
of elevation, seedling stock, aspect, etc.
