Mining will initiat in the
North Central Phase of the permit area, where remaining
unmined ore bodies will be excavated and processed. In this
area topsoil will be stripped and stockpiled in Stockpile
Storage A area. In this area the rate of mining will be
approximately 2,000 to 3,000 yards per day. Af er the
equipment has been tested and operators are Tamil ar with
mining processing, the rate may increase in subsequent
phases to as much as 10,000 yards per day.
(3) The initial processing plant site is iodic ted on
Exhibit C, Plate 4 at Plant A. An initial impou dment,
approximately 100 feet x 250 feet X 10 feet in dept , will
be adjacent to the Plant. A new impoundment will he con-
structed and the Plant moved to Plant B in 1967.
(4) Panhandle Drilling Co. is not committing to reclaim
the entire previously disturbed area of the North entral
Phase. Any areas of new mining during the permit t rm will
be staked out and reclaimed according to the recl mation
plan in Exhibit E. Insofar as it is convenient nd con-
sistent with their operations, Panhandle Drilling C may,
totally on a volunteer basis, grade some of the ld dis-
turbed areas. However, Panhandle Drilling Co. is not
committing to a topsoil placement or revegetation program
7
