• 3. Total inplace reserves for the E, lJild and D seams shown
in page 2.04-18 do not agree due to the omission of the
U.S. Steel lJest Lease reserves which are fee leases from
U.S. Steel and are not government reserves. Adding the
U.S. Steel West Lease to the WSC leases, the total inplace
reserves for the E Seam becomes 14.4 million tons. This cor-
rection has been made. On page 2.05-3 total production
estimated from recoverable reserves in the E seam and lower
seams is 9.6 million tons and 36.6 million tons respectively.
The 36.6 million tons includes reserves located in the
l•Jild Seam, D Seam, C Seam and B Seam, whereas information
included on 2.04-18 only includes the E, 41i1d and D Seams.
E Seam reserves are calculated at .667 recoverable. lJild
and D Seam reserves are arbitrarily granted a recovery rate
of .5 simply for lack of any useful experience in the vicinity.
4. Both the narrative and the map have been revised to reflect
the present mining plan (Exhibit 2.05.2-A, P.2.04-18, p. 2.05-18).
