RE: Expansion of gravel pit
As soon as possible we will be submitting an application to the
mined land reclamation board for a permit to mine material from a
safety project located in the SEIJ4SElj4 of section 10, Township
115, Range 60 W, of the 6th P.M. This extraction site is
immediately adjacent to the Simla Highway and will have an area of
approximately 2 acres. We anticipate the Bite will be active for
several years. Our submission will be asking Por a Limited 110
operation reclamation permit.
With regard to this application is your department aware of any
regulations, specifically zoning, in thls area we need to comply
with? In addition we would like to know if this area is in any
mineral extraction master plan, and if so would an expansion of the
existing operation fit within the guidelines of such a plan?
