EXHIBIT D
1
' MINING PLAN AD1D T:CMETABLE
Mining Plan. Mining will occur in three stages so as to
'r F' o
' minimize surface disturbance at any one time. All three
stages will be approximately ~2.7 acres more or less The i`~f
property will be mined from the southeast corner toward the
northwest corner (see Map and Exhibit C) creating approximately
32.7 acres of lake:. Each mining stage will be approximately
' one year in duration.
' The pit will be operated year round by Mobile Premix
Concrete, Inc. A:. operations begin in each stage, soils ~a-~r4
--.~~. ~ t'- ,
and overburden wi].1 be removed~~as requiredland will be
segregated and placed for future use and, if necessary, seeded.
Soils and ove~rburclen vary from zero to five feet in
thickness on the property. However, the stratification of
soils is such that. certain stratas contain amounts of sands
' and other fines necessary for the production of specification
aggregates.
' ~~
In stage one, the soils and overburden will be stored4 1
' within the setback from the property line." Thereafter, the s~~1h;uE~
necessary overburden and soils from stage two and three will
' be used to reslope (reclaim) the previous stage.
The present plan of sand and gravel extraction will be
performed as in the present Mobile Premix operation to the
east of the property. The pit run material will be removed
by a dragline, dewatered and conveyed to the present plant on
' the adjoining Adams County property to the east. Material will
' be processed through the existing equipment, stockpiled and sold.
' (5)
