(SH 7) AND <br />TUCSON ST. <br />The Colorado D~arirnent of Tratlsportatian (COOT, the Department) has roviewed the above and we have the <br />following comments: <br />1. State Highway 7 is acontrolled-access highway in accordance with the Highway Access Law, Section 43-2- <br />147(b). Vehicular access to or from the proposed development shall be provided to the general street system. <br />Access to the state highway shall be in accordance with the State Highway Access Code. To obtain <br />permission to consquct, modify, relocate or close a vehicular access, where such work will be within state <br />highway rightof--way, a state highway Access Pertrtit is required <br />2. The impact of the proposed improvement to the state highway is unclear. The submitted plans must identify <br />the scope of work in the COOT right-of-way. Improvemeats to the state highway must be in accordance with <br />CDOT's standards and the State Highway Access Code. <br />3. Workin CDOT's right-of-way shall be by permit only. <br />4. On-premise and off-preanse srgning shall comply with the aarrent Colorado Outdoor Advertising Act CRS <br />43-1-401, Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Outdoor Advertising.
