Chanee in Discharee <br />The permittee shall notify the Division, is writing, of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted <br />facility. Notice is requited only when: <br />a. The alteration or addition could significantly change the nature or increase the quantity or pollutants discharged; or <br />b. The alteration or addition results in a significant change in the permittce's sludge ttse or disposal practices, and such <br />alterazion, addition, or change may justify the application of permit conditions that are different from or absent in <br />the existing permit, including notification of additional use or disposal sits ~t reported pursuant to an approved <br />land application plan. <br />The permiace shall give advance notice to the Division of any planned changes in the permitted facility or activity which <br />may result is nonwmpliance with permit requiretnenrs. <br />Whenever natifcazion of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted facility is required pursuant to this <br />seaiott.. the pertninee shall furnish the Division such plans and specifications which the Division dcems reasonably <br />necessary to evaluate the effect on the ducharge, the stream, or ground water. If the Division finds that such new or <br />altered discharge might be inconsistent with the conditions of the permit, the Division shall require a new or revised <br />permit application and shall follow the procedures specified in Sections 6.6.0 through 6.7.0, and 6.16.0 of the <br />Regulations for the State Dischazge Permit System. <br />
