Several precipitation events occurred in May and June. San <br />Luis Valley Earthmovers (SLV) were on site and on July O1 ~.:d <br />July 02 all sediment basins and traps were cleaned by SLV. <br />This was routine maintenance of the stormwater system. <br />A stormwater inspection on October 02, 1997 showed that all <br />sumps, ditches, and check dams were operating properly. <br />A BMP was installed in the West Pit and BMP practices were <br />employed at the outfall. These included water bars and stray <br />bales. <br />~) Results and interpretations of any stormwater monitoring performed. <br />Routine surface water sampling in accordance with Permit M-38- <br />112 through the Division of Minerals and Geology were <br />conducted. <br />the San Luis'Mine was closed all of 1997 with only reclamation activit,~ <br />occurring. The mine and mill site are approximately 65o reclaimed. <br />Enclosed please find the certification for accuracy by the permittee.
