BM3I1 - San Luis <br />Facility No. COR-040050 <br />1997 Stormwater Permit Annual Report <br />Dear Ms. Dolan: <br />~~~ <br />This letter serves as BMRI's 1997 Annual Report in accordance with page <br />12, part I.D.7.b. of our Stormwater Permit. The annual report covers the <br />time period of January 1 through December 31, 1997. <br />1) Repor_ on the facility's overall compliance with the Stormwater <br />Management Plan (SWMP). <br />The San Luis Mine has implemented the Stormwater program as <br />described in the SWMP. <br />2) Battle Mountain Resources, Inc. <br />3.5 miles NE of San Luis <br />San Luis, Colorado 81152 <br />(719) 672-4126 <br />Permit Certification No. COR-040050 <br />3) Summary of each comprehensive Stormwater facility inspectior_ madam, <br />including date, findings, and action taken. Inspections, and record <br />of findings were completed by the on-site Environmental Manager. <br />Inspections are required twice per year in the spring and fall. <br />A Stormwater inspection was conducted on April 21, 1997. <br />During this inspectioi: all sediment traps and ditches were <br />found to be in good operating condition. Straw bales were also <br />in appropriate locations and in good condition. <br />999 <br />
