(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Na, b, and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of May 5`s through May 18a', 2002. The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 21° F to 40° F, and highs ranged from 55° F to 76° F. Rain was recorded on May 17's, 2002. Weather observations were made on twelve days of this fourteen-day reporting period. Construction Svnonsis Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthwork contractor for the Phase IVa, b, and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on twelve days of this fourteen-day reporting period (May 6`s through May l la' and May 13ei through May 18a'). Phase Na Ames did not place Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase Na azea during this reporting period. Ames conducted slope recontouring throughout the Phase Na azea and continued final subgrade prepazation. A Caterpillaz CS563C roller provided compactive effort, while a Mack water truck provided moisture conditioning. Ames continued to haul, place, and conduct final surface prepazations on Soil Liner Fill (SLF) in Phase Na. SLF was hauled and placed in Arequa Gulch. Ames began to conduct Depth Verification Testing on May 15s' completing test one through four. Ames began excavation of anchor trench on May 15's in preparation for geomembrane deployment.
