He would come inste~id <br />on June 1. <br />June 1, 1978 Mr. Funston inspects the quarry. <br />He was asked about the status oi' <br />the permit and advised us to ca7.1 <br />your office as he was not knowledge- <br />able about the status of the permit. <br />June 1, 1976 You were contacted about the status <br />of the permit and informed us that <br />it was being processed and we would <br />be advised in due time. <br />June 7, 1978 Received letter dated May 19, 1978 <br />advising us that our application was <br />satisfactory and publication should <br />commence as required by law. <br />June 7, 1976 lJpon receipt of the letter I called <br />the CMLR office and, in your absence, <br />spoke with Mr. Mark Heffner about the <br />late arrival of the letter. He ;ad- <br />vised that we submit a written re- <br />quest for a later filing date. <br />June B, 1976 In a telephone call to you concerning <br />this problem and allied matters con- <br />cerning the publishing statement, you <br />reiterated Mr. Heifner's advise i;o re- <br />quest a new filing date and also ad- <br />vised that no publishing commence until <br />we received a new filing date to be <br />issued by the CMLR office. <br />We will appreciate your effort to straighten this matter out <br />so that Ideal can comply with the law, and await the notice <br />of a new filing date. <br />Sincerely, <br />~~~ <br />/I ~~ <br />Thomas C.
