Box 1949
Fort Collins, Colorado 80521
303 482 5600
~~
Ideal Basic Industries, Inc. hereby requests a later filing
date for its Boettcher Limestone Quarry operation, L~trimer
County, Colorado (your file number 77-348). We are also
asking that the other three quarry operations associated
with our Boettcher plant be included so that the regl>ired
publishing and hearings can be coordinated.
This letter has been prepared in accordance to our telephone
conversation of this date. The request for a later riling
date is of necessity as the letter advising that our ap-
plication was complete and officially filed, dated M«y 19,
1978, was received in this office on June 7. The me{,eyed
postmark on the envelope indicated that the letter wa.s
posted from Denver on June 5 (photocopies attached). Re-
ception of the letter at this late date makes it impossible
for Ideal to commence publishing within ten days of the
date of the letter as specified by law.
So that the chronological order of events may be of x•ecord
they are listed below as follows:
May 9, 1978 Application filed at the Coloraco
Mined Land Reclamation office by
R. E. Marsh.
