A corrected copy of page 3 of the application form, which designates <br />the post-mining use as Rangeland, is included. <br />2. It is intended that a portable, drum mix asphalt batch plant be situated <br />at the site. <br />Materials that will be present on-site that have the potential Por a spill <br />are diesel fuel and asphalt cement. The diesel Puel tank has 10,000 <br />gallons capacity and the asphalt tank has 20,000 gallons capacity. <br />The asphalt plant configuration requires an area that is 105 feet by 80 <br />feet. A tertiary containment berm will be constructed around the <br />perimeter of the plant equipment. This berm will be 6" high and will be <br />constructed of compacted clay loam. This berm will have the capacity to <br />contain 31,400 gallons. <br />The drum mix plant will be placed on a 3" thick asphalt mat that will be <br />compacted to 95R density. Around the perimeter of this mat will be a <br />compacted clay loam berm 12" high. <br />Each oP the liquid material storage tanks will also be placed on a 3" <br />thick compacted asphalt mat and a 24" compacted clay loam berm will be <br />constructed around the perimeter of each mat. <br />1 <br />United Companies o/ Mesa County, inc. <br /> <br />III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <br />
