<br />Page 229 <br />Sectio~~ 4,02.2 <br />4.02.2 Mine and Permit Identification Signs, <br />122(5) (1) Identification signs shall be displayed at each <br />entrance to the permit area from public roads. <br />(21 Signs shall show the name, address, and telephone <br />number of the person who conaucts the surface coal mining <br />operations and the identification nurtber of thie current permit <br />authorizing mining activities. <br />(3) Si gns shall be retained and maintained until after <br />the release of all bonds for the permit area. <br />4.02.3 Perimeter Markers. <br />103(18) The perimeter of a permit area far surface coal mining ~,zRP= <br />activities, or in the case of underground miming activities, the=~F ~D '" <br />perimeter of all areas affected by surface operations or '` ~" <br />facilities, shall be clearly marked_before they beginning of <br />surface coal mining operations. <br />4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance. <br />Signs and markers shall be maintained d~u-ing the conduct <br />of all activities to which they pertain. <br />4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers. <br />120(2)(j) Buffer zane; established under tltie provisions of 4,05.18 <br />(II)(A) shall be clearly marked. <br />4.02.6 Blasting Si gns. <br />120(2)(0) If surface blasting is crndicted incident to surface coal <br />(I) mining operations, the persrn who con aucts these operations <br />shall: <br />(1) Conspicuously airplay signs reading "Blasting Area" <br />along the edge of any blasting area that comes within 50 feet of <br />any road within the permit area or within 100 feet of any public <br />road ri ght of way. <br />(2) Conspi aously flag, or post within the blasting <br />area, the imnediate vicinity of diarged holes. <br />1/\ l ~,~ ) <br />\ ~ J <br />
