The overstory in the adjacent <br />undisturbed area is approximately 70% with understory of 50%. Common Juniper <br />was present as an understory plant in undisturbed shady areas. The plants <br />that represent the greatest precentage of cover in decreasing order are <br />as follows: <br />Pearly Everlasting - Anaphalis margaritacea <br />• Wild Strawberry - Fragaria vesca <br />Kinnikinnick - Arctostaphylos uva - ursi <br />Groundsel - Senecio species <br />Also present but less than 10% of the total vegetation cover are: <br />Yarrow - Achillea millefolium <br />Fireweed - Epilobium angustifolium <br />Penstemon - Penstemon species <br />Carex - <br />Buckwheat - Eriogonum species <br />Bluegrass - Poa species <br />Fleabane Daisy - Erigeron species <br />Hairy Goldaster - Chrysopsis villosa <br />Squirreltail - Sitanion hystrix <br />Fescue - Festuca species <br />Because of the last stage of vegetative development for this year, species <br />identification was not possible. <br />cc: file <br /> <br />
