I feel that you have <br />answered most of my questions, but there are still some outstanding <br />issues. 1 will outline these below, referencing [hem by the exhibit <br />letter and number from my original adequacy letter. I have also <br />included a copy of the review letter from the Division of Water <br />Resources. It generally reflects my original concerns about drainage <br />on [he site. Also included is the review of Pit 29 by the Division <br />of Water Resources. <br />Exhibit A <br />As I mentioned during our phone conversation, it will be necessary <br />for Brannan to document the disappearance of the 1.6 acres from the <br />original permit. Otherwise, this acreage is unaccounted for in <br />reclamation. In effect, this conversion application also becomes <br />an amendment application since acreage is reduced. <br />Exhibits C b D <br />4. Please outline the 15 acres still to be mined on the map. <br />Exhibits E, F, L G <br />3, b. Since the storm retention pond is set in bedrock and a feature <br />of the final reclaimed site, the drainage patterns and chara- <br />teristics of the site can be expected to be significantly <br />different than now. Tl,e pond may indeed he a permanent or <br />semi-permanent feature. At this point, the statements con- <br />cerning potential water in this pond have little or no hard <br />data to back them up. This area should have special treatment <br />in reclamation if analysis shows it to be more than an ephem- <br />eral feature. <br />4.
