The mining setback is not applicable on Parcels C-1 and C-2 since these pazcels aren't being
mined. On Pazcel B, the gas pipeline has two other non-pressured water pipelines between
it and the nearest mining, leading to a minimum mining setback from the gas pipeline in this
area of 100'±.
City of Northglenn and CCWCD -Non-Pressurized Water Discharge Pipelines
Starting from the north side of Fulton Ditch, the City of Northglenn has anon-pressurized
underground water discharge pipeline from the Fulton Ditch to the S. Platte River. A second
parallel similaz pipeline will also be installed by the Central Colorado Water Conservancy
District (CCWCD) in the future, between the City of Northglenn's pipeline and the Sinclair
gas pipeline. The Slope Stability Analysis determined that a setback of 35' is sufficient to
ensure that a structure such as a pipeline would not be impacted by mining. Prior to mining
being undertaken, the exact location ofthe City ofNorthglenn's pipeline shat! be staked in the
field to ensure this setback is followed. As the future CCWCD will be located on the non-
mining side of the existing City of Northglenn's non-pressured water pipeline, the nearest
mining will be from this future pipeline is 75'±.
104"' Avenue (SH#44-CDOT), Mckay Road and 100"' Avenue (Adams County), and
Miscellaneous Utilities in Above Roads -United Power, U.S. West, and Public Service
Company of Colorado (PSCo.)
The above roads surround and abut major portions of the permit area. Within the right-of-
way of these roads are above and underground utility lines owned by United Power, U.S.
West, and Pubhc Service Company of Colorado. The Slope Stability Analysis determined that
a setback of 35' is sufficient to ensure that these right-of--ways and structures within these
rights-of--ways would not be impacted by mining. In most cases, the location of the utilities
within the right-of--way in relation to the minimum setback of 35' from the edge of the right-
of-way will lead to a setback of much greater than the minimum 35'.
Other Structures Within 200' of Mining or Within Mining Area
As shown on Exhibit C-l, Pre-Mining Map and listed in Exhibit 0, other miscellaneous
structures are located either on adjacent properly within Z00' of any area proposed for
excavation or within the permit area in an area that won't be mined. In both cases, the
nearest mi~ung will always be greater than 35', per Slope Stability Analysis determination of
the minimum setback sufficient to ensure that such structures would not be impacted by
mining.
