This may artificially restrict the simulated drawdown that propagates to the model boundary and <br />beyond, thus providing an inaccurate prediction of impacts to users peripheral to the site. In this particular <br />case, however, the argument is of little consequence, because: 1) the predicted drawdowns were relatively <br />small, only 1-2 feet at the model boundary, and 2) Lafarge has stated that impacts to surrounding users will <br />be mitigated as needed to the satisfaction of the division. <br />DBMS will calculate a bond amount, and will apprise Lafarge of the amount in follow-up correspondence. <br />Please feel free to contact me with questions. <br />Si cerely, <br />David A.
