<br />STOKER LOADING FACILITY <br />Technical Revision <br /> <br /> <br />Vegetation <br />The vegetation of the affected area is a sagebrush community. <br />For additional information on this vegetation type refer to Section 2.04.10 <br />Vegetation Information of the Colowyo Permit Application. <br />Soils <br />The soils of the affected area consist of Yamac Loam and Pinelli <br />Loam. For additional details refer to Section 2.04.9 Soil Resource <br />Information of the Colowyo Permit Application. <br />Cultural Resources <br />There are no known cultural ar historical resources in the <br />affected area. For additional details refer to Section 2.04.4 Cultural and <br />Historical Resource Information of the Colowyo Permit Application. <br />Hydrology <br />Information contained in Section 2.06.8 of the Colowyo Permit <br />Application, Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Operations on Areas or <br />Ad'acent to Areas Includin Alluvial Valle Floors and the Regional <br />~drology Map Map ZO indicates that construction and reclamation of the <br />stoker loading facility will not occur directly within the identified <br />Wilson Creek AVF. The construction of the stoker loading facility will not <br />increase the potential for degradation of the water quality in any of the <br />Wilson Creek AVF materials which is considered insignificant as discussed <br />on page 20 of the Colowyo "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance" <br />document for Colowyo. <br />During construction, the buffer zone for Wilson Creek will remain <br />undisturbed for all areas that are presently undisturbed. Some <br />construction will be necessary in the vicinity of the existing rail <br />crossing of Wilson Creek but will occur completely within the existing <br />right-of-way. <br />Incidental Boundary Change <br />Approximately 6.96 acres will be added to the existing Colowyo <br />Permit Area of 5,544.19 acres for a new total of 5,551.15 acres. The <br />additional area is located within the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 15, <br />Township 4N, Range 93W of the 6th P.M., as shown on the Revised Map 21, <br />Existing Structures-North. <br />
