If the ~rock511 material has sufficient fines to <br />prevent migmao0. filter fabric may be omitted on the approval of a <br />representative of our Srm. <br />3.5 SUBBASE <br />Pit-run gravel to be used as subbase shall be placed to a minimum <br />wmpacted depth of 9" and wnform m Class 2 State Highway <br />Standards 1981 Edition with a maximum of 6" rock. The largest stone <br />shall not be more than 7J3 of the subbase depth if a wmpaded thick- <br />ness greater than 9" is used <br />• , ~ S.6 BASB COURSE <br />A crushed aggregate base worse shall be paced on the subbase worse <br />to a wmpacted minimum depth of 4" to meet a class 6 standard as per <br />the State Highway Standards 1981 F,di6on Where no paved surface <br />wtuse is required, the base worse shall be wnsmtcted w be the surface <br />wtnse.
