Thereafter, monitoring shall
continue on a quarterly basis. The Division will review the first six
months of data and determine if a waiver of numeric limitations can be
granted based on the salt-load to the river being less Chan one too/day
(or 350 tone/year). Lf a waiver is not granted, the permittee has an
additional eiz months to submit a report i^ accordance with the Salinity
Regulations, addressing economic feasabillty of salt-removal.
The proposed effluent 1lmitationa for outfalls 002, 003, 004 and 005 are show
Sa Table 4 below, as are the rationale for their choice and the monitoring
frequencies.
Table 4
Monitoring
Parameter Limitation Rationale Frequencies
Flow, MGD NA Monitoring Monthly
pH, s.u. 6.5-9.0 YQS Monthly
011 and Grease, mg/1 10.0 SES Monthly
Settleable Solids, ml/1* 0.5 BAT Monthly
Salinity NA Monitoring Quarterly
=This parameter is not applicable to discharges caused by precipitation
greater than the 10-year, 24 hour event (ar equivalent enowmelt volume).
