<br />EXHIBIT D <br />Reclamation Plan <br />The relatively flat areas south of the rock outcrop used for <br />stockpile and plant locations will have all stockpiles removed and <br />will then be scarified with a motor grader to loosen the soil. <br />After scarification fertilizer will be spread on the soil at the rate <br />of 300 lbs/acre. The fertilizer will be a commercial blend rated <br />at 18-46-0. Fertilizer wil be disked into the soil. The entire pit <br />will be drilled with the following seed mixture: <br />Indian Ricegrass 3 lbs/acre PLS <br />Western Wheatgrass (Arriba) 1 lb/acre PLS <br />Streambank Wheatgrass (Sodar) 1.5 lbs/acre PLS <br />Sand Dropseed 0.1 lbs/acre PLS <br />Those aras that can not be drilled will be hand broadcast at <br />double the rate for drilling. <br />All boulders and wasted stockpile materials will be placed in or <br />adjacent to the quarry area. The finer waste materials will be placed <br />on top of the quarry site in an effort to provide a growth medium for <br />vegetation. This area will be fertilized and seeded the setae as other <br />areas of the pit. Large boulders will be covered as much as practical <br />with waste materials. <br />The entire disturbed area will be mulched with grass or straw <br />placed at the rate of two tons per acre and then crimped into the soil. <br />Rock slopes will be left at approximately ~:1 to 3:1 slopes with <br />all loose rock removed. Other slopes on other than hard rock will not <br />be greater than 3:1. <br />Seeding and mulching operations will be done in late Fall or <br />early Spring. <br />The applicant agrees to a financial warranty of $5000.00. <br />
