The 8 to 13 inches of overburden shall be salvaged, stockpiled a.zd replaced <br />over the affected area for backfill (Pages"I-1"through "I.7"). <br />c. Final Grading =The area will be graded to a (3:1) three to one slope or less <br />and will be graded ou the contour to conserve mois*.ure and reduce erosion. <br />The graded area will be scarified to a depth of 6 inches following grading. <br />d. Fertilizer - A soil test will be taken to determine the amount and type of <br />fertilizer to be used. The fertilizer will be applied as soon as the soil test <br />results are obtained. <br />e. Organic material -Cow manure will also be spread over the area at two tons <br />per acre. <br />f. Weed Control -The operator will wait one year to fertilize to prevent weeds <br />and will mow weeds as required. <br />g. Seeding -Seeding will be done shortly after the topsoil is applied to prevent <br />erosion and to prevent weed growth. Seed will be drilled by a rangeland drill. <br />The reclaimed area will be seeded sometime between the fire`. of November <br />and the 31st of May to the following seed mixture: <br />Blue grams <br />10 # P.
