MINING PLAN -Exhibit "D" (Continued)
STAGE #2
1. First the fines stockpile found at the site will be removed and sold to the County
of Kiowa and used as fill for the old, mined out area found in the existing pit
in the fall of 1985.
2. Stage Two consists of 10 acres which will be mined in increments of 2 acres
per year, thus lasting for 5 years.
3. Operations will start on the North boundary and proceed to the South boundary
of Stage Twq as shown on Map (Page"C-1").
4. Sand and gravel will be extracted in the same manner as indicated in Stage One,
(Pages D-2 agd D-3, Paragraph 4). Stockpiles will be located in Southeast 1/4.
5. No water impoundments are located at the site, and the water will be drained
naturally to the Southwest. The topography of the affected area when reclaimed
will be to gentle three to one (3:1) slopes or less so that very little erosion will
occur.
6. Mining Plan stages will be marked with red markers along the mining stage
boundaries so that the Contractor will have no problem staying within the
mining stage boundary.
7. Refer to D'&ning Stage Timetable (Page "~16" of Mining Plan) for overall
picture.
8. All access roads are included in the affected area.
"D-4"
