A State of Colorado-certified laboratory will be used for all groundwater and surface <br />water quality analysis for all designated sites and frequencies specified in this plan. American Soda <br />will use the USGS analytical laboratory, preferentially, to perform annual third-party validation of <br />water quality data. American Soda will maintain afull-time environmental coordinator who will <br />assure adherence to the QA/QC plan. Water quality sampling conducted by the USGS will be done <br />according to USGS protocols and not necessarily those used by American Soda. <br />6.1 Groundwater Sampling Methods <br />Groundwater sampling will be performed in accordance with the standard operating <br />procedures (SOP) developed for the site. The SOP for groundwater sampling is included as <br />Appendix C and provides detailed instructions on the following topics: <br />~ Equipment required <br />~ Instrument calibration <br />Agapito Associates, Inc. <br />
