• ~ • <br />r <br />9. This contract is subject to the regulations found in 43 CPR 3600. <br />10. Prescribed reclamaCions 25 stated in the "approved" Reclamation Plan will he <br />performed and completed on portions of the Area at such periodic times as <br />determined by the Authorized Officer. <br />11. Term;; of this contract, including the approved Mining and Reclamation Plans, <br />will be complied with and remain in effect until released by the Authorized <br />Officer. <br />]2. Upon notification by the Authorized Officer or his representative, all operations <br />will cease and remedies will be made for any incidents of noncompliance. <br />13. The purchaser and his agents assume liability for damages caused by fires resulting <br />from operations under this permit. . <br />14. Purchaser will notify the Authorized Officer of tl~e following: <br />a. Completion of mining operation <br />b. Commencement of reclamation operation <br />c. Completion of reclamation <br />15. Any archaeologic or paleontologic finds are to be left intact and reported to rile <br />Authorized Officer. Cost of any recovery of such values will be borne by the <br />purchaser. <br />16. The site and pits will be maintained by purchaser and his agents in such con- <br />dition as to comply wit} safety regulations and so that no hazarad will exisC to <br />persons or livestock by reason of rile purchaser's operation. <br />17. The environmental assessment ItCO-050-SL-83-03 and it's amendments are made a part <br />of this.contract. <br />18. The purchaser will insure that his agents (contractors, subcontractors, etc.) will <br />receive a copy of the conditions of this contract and insure that those agents <br />accept, understand and comply with all conditions. <br />19. Upon c-ommencement of reclamation, the site will be fenced to exclude grazing. <br />This 1'.ence shall be maintained and kept intact (minimum of 2 years) until recla- <br />mation work has been established and approved and released by the Authorized <br />Officer. You will be given 30 days to remove the fence upon receipt of the letter <br />of re]-ease. <br />20. All of the original conditions, of prior contract sales, either expressed or <br />implied, are cancelled and replaced by these special stipulations. <br />21. Stock piled materials are only allowed during the effective time of the contract <br />and mosC be removed prior to the expiration date. <br />22. So. Way Co. will submit annual reports (Due March 15) as follows: <br />a. Volume removed <br />b. Area excavated on map <br />c. Area to be mined the next year on map <br />-2- <br />
