Pi' rehabilitation shell be done in cccordarce with the following requirements: <br />A. i3enches shall be constructed as shown an the Pii De'+eiopment <br />drawings to minimize slope height and promote nature: vegetation <br />regeneration. <br />B. The pit floor shall be constructed as shown on the Pif Development <br />drawings !a provide for positive drainage, disperse runoff, and <br />protect Forest Road 142 from undue drainage concentrations. <br />C. Upon completion of crushing operations, stockpiled soil overburden <br />shall be distributed over the developed area in a uniform manner. <br />The area shall be seeded, mulched, and fertilized during the first <br />seeding season following pit expansion and crushing activities. The <br />seeding shall be done in accordance with the following requirements: <br />1. Pre oarotion of Seed bed: Cutslopes, filislopes, embankments, and <br />other areas to be seeded, shall be shaped and finished as shown <br />on the drawings. Where necessary, the area shall be scarified <br />or otherwise worked so that the surface is loose to a depth of <br />at least i inch. <br />2. Seeding Mix: Seed shall be clean certified seed of at least 90% <br />purity and germination of at least SD%. The seed mixture shall <br />consist of the following grasses in the amounts specified: <br />Gross Tvoe <br />Bronnr Mountnin Brone <br />Annual Ryegrnss <br />Covnr Sheep Fescue <br />Bluebunch Vheatgrnss <br />Slender Whe¢tgr¢ss <br />Alslke Clover <br />the/Acre Pure Live Seed <br />10 <br />10 <br />7 <br />5 <br />2 <br />1 <br />Tofof = 35 <br />3. Fertilizer. Fertilizer shall be a slandord commercial grade fertilizer <br />and shall provide the minimum percentage of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, <br />and Potassium of 18-46-D. <br />~. Mulch: "Excel" - (•ibermulch with tackifier or an approved equal <br />as manufactured by American Excelsior Company. <br />5. Aoolication Method: Seed and fertilizer, or seed, fertilizer, and <br />mulch in the amounts specified shall be mixed with water to <br />form a slurry and applied under hydraulic pressure o} the rates <br />specified below. <br />6.
