Exhibit G
HELTON $ WiLLIAMSEN, P.C.
Dewayne R. Schroeder (oontinued)
Evaluated and modified the Hydrological Institutional Model (HIM) of the Arkansas River.
The HIM predicts flow in and diversions from the Arkansas River and the operation of seven
off-channel reservoirs and the operation of John Martin Reservoir. The ground
water/surface water interactions are represented in the HIM using unit response functions.
Participated in Kansas v. Colorado before the U.S. Supreme Court as an expert witness in
hydrology and hydrologic modeling. Applied analytical and finite difference modeling
techniques to numerous smaller projects. Developed computer programs used by staff of
the Colorado Division of Water Resources and directed the training of the staff in the use of
the programs.
1978-1984 Colorado Division of Water Resources
Supervising Water Resource Engineer, Ground Water Branch. Supervised the
operation of the ground water branch for Colorado's east slope and San Luis Valley. This
experience contributed to my knowledge of water resources and water resource issues in
the San Luis Valley and eastern Colorado.
1970-1978 Colorado Division of Water Resources
Water Resource Engineer, Designated Ground Water Basin Branch, Ground Water
the Colorado Ground Water Commission. This experience contributed to my knowledge of
ground water resources in eastern Colorado and specifically to the development, nature,
and extent of the Ogallala Aquifer and to the interaction between the Ogallala Aquifer and
the South Platte River and the North and Scuth Forks of the Republican River. During this
time I mapped the saturated thickness of the entire Ogallala Aquifer in the Northern High
Plains Designated Ground Water Basin and bedrock and water table elevations for portions
of the basin. Testified in numerous cases as an expert witness in ground water and ground
HELTON $ WILLIAMSEN, P.C.
Dewayne R.
