Long <br />Division Director <br />I have reviewed the above referenced permit application for adequacy and have identified the <br />following concerns: <br />EXHIBTT C: Part b of this Exhibit commits the company to reapply the stockpiled topsoil to the <br />disturbed area as part of reclamation after the conclusion of mining. The estimated date of the <br />conclusion of mining, however, is uncertain and there is no comtnitment in this Exhibit to <br />stabilize the topsoil stockpile with vegetative cover if use of the topsoil is significantly delayed. <br />Please commit to stabilize the topsoil stockpile with vegetative cover if the topsoil is not utilized <br />for reclamation purposes within one growing season. <br />EXHIBTI' C: Part f of this Exhibit refers to the Exhibit E map for dimensions of the significant <br />disturbances associated with this operation but neither of the Exhibit E maps shows the outline , <br />~~ ie. the dimensions, of the pit itself. <br />In order the satisfy the requirements of this Exhibit, please either specify the dimensions of the <br />pit or indicate its outline on the Exhibit E maps. <br />
