The topography is generally level with only slight <br />changes in elevation. <br />• <br />The soils on the area range from a sandy loam to clay and are <br />moderately deep to deep, 6ig6 in organic matter, poorly drained and <br />typically acid in reaction. <br />The vegetation community is dominated by graminoids with <br />Carez species and other grasslike species comprising 82.2 and 10.7 <br />percent of the vegetative cover respectively. Total vegetative <br />cover of the community was estimated to be 30.72 and production 21.4 <br />g/'~2. A summary of the vegetation data collected is presented in <br />Table 14, Meadow Hay Cropland Vegetation Type. <br />• Brome Hay Vegetation Type <br />The Brome Hay Vegetation Type is located on gentle slopes with <br />2.04-76 <br />
