An <br />aerial photograph, with the plant communities delineated, may be used in <br />lieu of a vegetation map for this purpose. <br />RSSPONSS: <br />Plant communities eaiating vithin and adjacent to the proposed <br />• permit area prior to disturbance are delineated on Map 7, Premining <br />Vegetation. This map vas prepared at a scale of 1:6000 and shows <br />reference area locations. <br />Since the vegetation vas not in a pristine condition vhen Map 7 <br />vas prepared, vertical aerial photographs taken before disturbance <br />were used to delineate the vegetation types. The premine vegetation <br />type map vas used to delineate important fish and wildlife habitat <br />for the animal species identified under Rule 2.04.11. <br />(4) Plant communities shall be described in terms of species <br />• composition, cover, productivity and woody plant density.
