Bo: 1670 <br />Granby, Colorado 80446 <br />I{attenbnrg Excavating: <br />This report was developed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service in response to your <br />request for revegetation information for the proposed gravel pit located: Township 2 North & <br />Range 7ti West( Near Granby Colorado). <br />Soils: <br />See attached soils descriptions tiom Gtand County Soil Surrey. <br />Eaistintt Vettetation: <br />The proposed gravel pit is located on a stony/mountain loam NRCS range site. Existing <br />vegetation consists primarily of <br />Bottiebrush Squireltail <br />Fescue <br />Needlegrasses <br />Mutton grass <br />Bluegrass <br />Western Wheatgrass <br />Sagebnuh <br />Buckwheat <br />Phlox <br />Basal density is estimated to be 10 to l5 percent. <br />Reclamation Recommendations: <br />Currently the site is anon-grazed rangela~ site and it is our understanding that the site will be <br />reclaimed for the same use. Reclamation of the site will be an ongoing process where the <br />reclamation schedule will be yearly or as appropriate.
