MiNpro Pour ExHierr D (conTl
MAP EXHIBIT F - RECLAMATION PLAN MAP for the approximate shape of the
area when reclamation is complete.
An estimate of water needs for the mine is outlined in
EXHIBIT G -WATER. Most of the water to be used for dust control
will be used on haul roads. On a typical operation of this type
3 to 8 ac-ft per year is used. Drainage will be maintained to
the southeast, where runoff from precipitation will infiltrate
into the underlying strata. Ponding and evaporation is expected
to be minimal.
All interior pit slopes will be maintained with a pit-ward
attitude so that there will be no drainage off the affected land.
An isolation ditch will be placed along the up gradient sides of
the mine to rout any offsite surface flows around the disturbed
area. This same slope management plan will prevent any offsite
slides or other disruptions, and will also address some of the
storm-water runoff questions arising from the Clean Water Act.
No water will be discharged from the pit, until we have a Na-
tional Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit that
will address and discharges associated with the mining operation
or Stormwater as now required by law.
We have adequate water available to meet the requirements
for washing and industrial uses. There will be no evaporative
loss since this is a dry mine, see EXHIBIT G.
bIDVING T'l3lETTABLB
The continuing uncertainty of economic conditions in the
construction materials industry precludes an accurate forecast of
demand during the life of the mine. This estimated mining
timetable is based on an average year and it is expected a
specific year varies widely from the average. The life of the
mine is based on an average yearly production rate and may vary
depending on market demands.
MINING T
ACRS$ AVBRAGB ANNUAL
MINING AREA Y&ARS PRODUCTION
TOTAIr?
