Site FED 2 is a site located on land owned by Peabody, Inc. It had been rejected because of an <br />infestation of Canada thistle. At this inspection, the site is covered with approximately 60% <br />perennial grasses; there is a good distribution of perennial fortis also. Revegetation was deemed <br />sufficient for release for that aspect of the reclamation. Photo below. <br />Site FED 55. On last inspection this site was barely vegetated. This time, there was still <br />abundant thistle and very little perennial vegetation. While this site sites on a ridge top that is <br />sparsely vegetated throughout, the Division can't release the site until some reasonable perennial <br />vegetation is established. Site will not be released. <br />Site FED 68. Same as FED 55. All thistle for vegetation. Not ready for release. Photo below. <br />
