iii iiiiiiiiiiiu iii
This was an inspection of exploration sites for NOIs CX-96-219-00 and CX-96-219-01, held by
Cottonwood Land. The inspection was done on July 11, 2001 by Jim Burnell of CDMG,
accompanied by Rick Tifft of Norwest Mining, a consultant to Cottonwood Land.
Site FED 62 was initially rejected because revegetation had not been successful and the site was
dominated by annual weeds. On this inspection the pad had lush growth of perennial grass. The
earthwork was already approved.
Site FED 61 was also dominated by annual weeds. At the time of this inspection, [he site was
well vegetated, with perennial grasses and fortis almost exclusively. (Photo below.)
Site PDH 33 (BE 98-033) had been rejected because it had been overgrazed and no assessment
could be made of vegetative diversity or density. At this inspection, the site was in excellent
condition with good perennial growth. (Photo below)
