Another soils
type, the Beenon-Absarokee Association, is found in the upper
location of the portals; however, this soil mapping unit has been
disturbed by previous mining and therefore no soil was salvaged
during the cleanup process for the Bear No. 3 Portals.
The data for the two soil samples taken within the permit area are
found in Table 7, Soils Analysis. The results of the soil data
collected are found in the following discussion. The exact soil
sampling locations for all soils found within the facilities area
are shown on the Soils Map (Map 4).
• Interpretation of Soils Analysis.
