Subsoil and rock will be segregated from the topsoil wherever <br />possible. <br />The route was selected to minimize disturbance to existing vegetation. <br />Disturbance will be confined to cutting of a few trees within the right-of- <br />way in the areas adjacent to Newlin Creek. <br />It will be necessary to cross Newlin Creek one time when the power line is <br />being installed. This will be done at a natural crossing site so that <br />disturbance to the stream channel is minimized. The normal flow or <br />. gradient of the stream will not be altered. <br />The proposed temporary road will be closed to vehicular traffic immediately <br />following installation of the powerline. The limited section of roadbed <br />will be reshaped to conform with the adjacent terrain and reseeded.
