• c) Other birds <br />No study of passerines or other non-game birds <br />has been made. Table 1B lists species which are <br />likely to occur. All species are expected to be <br />benefitted in relation to proposed mitigation and <br />reclamation plans. <br />4. Reptiles and Amphibians <br />The climate of North Park is hostile to cold- <br />blooded vertebrates. Species which are expected to occur <br />are listed in Table 1G. <br />5. Threatened and Endangered Species <br />Bald eagles (Haliaeetus Zeucocephalus) and <br />peregrine falcons (Falco peregrinus), both classified <br />endangered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the <br />State of Colorado, have been observed in the vicinity of <br />the proposed permit area. Essential habitat for these two <br />• species has not been designated anywhere in North Park. <br />No other endangered wildlife are known to inhabit or use <br />the proposed permit area. <br /> <br />-11- <br />
