INSPECTION ACTIVITIES
o Checked final configuration and bedding/riprap placement for
Drainage 41
o Checked bedding and riprap placement for Drainage 31-2 and
additional 100' section of 31-1
o Checked bedding and riprap placement for Drainage 7
o Stopped at Drainage 51. Earthwork had started the previous
day
o Photographed final configuration and bedding/riprap placement
for Drainages 7, 31-2, and 41
FINDINGS
o The final configuration of Drainage 41 looks good and is
considered acceptable relative to conformance with design.
Bedding and riprap placement look good with adequate
thickness, uniform placement and good gradation. The problems
noted in the 8/15 and 8/17 reports have been effectively
addressed with regrading and additional riprap placement.
o Bedding and riprap placement have been completed for Drainage
31-2. Placement thickness appears to be adequate, however,
poor gradation with excessive large material and lack of
adequate channel definition were noted as problems.
